Nobody should take this left hand path to Beauty at all costs. But some people must.

Gathering in person is ancient technology

In our increasingly virtual world where everything from relationships to healing to vocation is mediated by a screen, gathering in human is a radical act of embodiment. In fact, it is essential. Nobody has ever encountered and sustained personhood consciousness without it.
The Rapture of Being Alive Retreat offers this essential aspect of the left hand path to encountering Reality for ourselves in community with other humans.
But make no mistake, this is not an authentic relating circle. This is not a therapeutic process group. This is a lineage-based format of personal inquiry that will take you as deep as you are willing to go. No false fluff and no false friends. We are here for reality and nothing else will do.

We gather for an evening, three full days, and a morning to practice together.
The practice is very simple but infinitely surprising and variable. There will be silence. There will be speaking. There will be teaching. And beauty. So much beauty.
Everything you need to know will be taught. There are no complex concepts or athletic movements required. All ages and experience levels will have the same opportunity to go deeper into Reality, Life and Love.
There will be a lot of support. Ernest and his assistants will be available to support you as you go. It is our pleasure to be of service.

As an act of rebellion in an increasingly fragmented world we are coming together by word of mouth so we can share our experience and language with our friends and connections who also have touched what we have touched.

Bethlehem Retreat Centre – Nanaimo, British Columbia. Nanaimo airport (YCD) is accessible by flying through Vancouver (YVR) or Victoria (YYJ).
Cost:
Tuition: $1150 USD. Sliding scale scholarships available by application.
Room and Board: $525 USD (4 nights) – Based on single occupancy

Is there any edgy, sexy, intimacy play involved?
No. Although the truth is quite a spicy and rapturous event in its own right. But there will be no touching. No removal of clothing. No awkward or contrived experiments in relating.
Why is it in Canada?
Canada is beautiful! And a lot cheaper than the U.S. – Every U.S. dollar is worth 40% more in Canada.
Is this just another retreat that will feel good for a few days and then fade away?
The best part of this way of waking up is that we are not using any altered consciousness to get there. No long meditation periods or plant medicine or intense ecstatic experiences. Everything is in ordinary reality. This means that everything you get stays with you as you go.
Will I connect with people?
The people who come are all committed to the same thing – reality. There is no greater a bond to share than someone else who wants love and life, truth and freedom as much as you do. Many people have become lifelong friends (and more!) through this shared experience.
